TOPIC: Dark Tourism - Aradale Asylum and paranormal travel Hacks.

A discussion about the Aradale Asylum, it's history, ghost and investigation tours plus some hacks when you hit the road to chase ghosts.

About William Tabone
Bill has been interested in the paranormal since he was a young boy, reading and watching everything he could get his hands on regarding ghosts, hauntings, werewolves, vampires and many other types of paranormal phenomena.

He started his investigation career at the age of 19, and has spent the last 32 years in search of answers.

Along with his wife Amanda, Bill is co-owner and director of the Australia Paranormal Society, which has been in existence for around 12 years.

Bill has had the opportunity to investigate some of the most haunted locations in Australia and the privilege to investigate across the globe including the UK and the USA, in such places as the battlefields of Gettysburg, Alcatraz and Whittington Castle, just to name a few.
Considering himself an explorer of the unknown world, Bill and his team conduct research into all things paranormal.

Bill see’s a big part of his work as educating the general public about the paranormal world through lectures, tours, radio and television work.

TOPIC: Meet the Paranormal Prospectors!
New kids on the block
Our 4 amazing venues
Evidence caught
The Pros of having a medium on tour.
Investigating with our latest equipment – TANK!

Danni – Business owner \ photographer \ medium
Adam – State Manager
Belinda – Work for the dole Co -Ordinator.

The Prospectors formed in 2017 after investigating together as friends before forming the PPA, it was during this time with Danni’s relentless efforts we acquired our first venue, Old Beechworth Gaol.
Combined the prospectors have 20 plus years’ experience paranormal investigating.
We have been running tours here now for 2 years with some amazing evidence caught and experienced by our guests, this truly is by far our favorite venue, with us achieving over 50 five-star reviews – we pride ourselves on this.
In 2018 we acquired our second venue after Danni stumbled across the beautiful Mt Carmel Convent whist on a photoshoot. This venue is being renovated and is still in all its former glory and originality – We have some great investigations here and offer sleepovers in the nuns’ cells.
In 2019 we were given the opportunity to run tours through the Star Hotel in Corowa, this hotel is all underground and built in the 1800’s – by far our most frightening experiences have occurred at this venue – goes to show you don’t need a huge premise for activity to occur, this place has proven that!
We also have a new venue in the pipeline and are just finalizing the final details for this one.
We also have a new team member, our 4-legged friend Tank the dog!

TOPIC: Willow Court DARK ASYLUM Tours

A discussion into the history and the Paranormal Investigation Tours of Australia's Oldest continually run Asylum in Tasmania, Willow Court.

About Sharmaine Mansfield
My name is Sharmaine Mansfield and I am the owner of Tasmania's Most Haunted.

I currently own and operate Paranormal Investigations / Ghost Tours at Australia's Oldest Continually Run Asylum, Willow Court. Willow Court is located approximately 34klms from Tasmania's Capital City, Hobart.

Tasmania's Most Haunted has conducted tours and investigations at the Asylum since 2014 with many visitors from all over the world participating in our tours.

How I became involved in the Paranormal was in 2015 I attended my first Paranormal Investigation Tour at the Willow Court Asylum where I witnessed something we could not explain and from that day forward I continued to attend the tours and private investigations seeking answers to the unknown.

After 12 months of attending tours, I became part of the Tasmania's Most Haunted team as a Tour Guide, with 12 months later, I became the new owner.

Since becoming the new owner, my passion for both the Willow Court site and the Paranormal has become a major part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way.  I grew up in the area of Willow Court and recall witnessing the Asylum in full operation.  The Asylum closed its doors in the years 2000/2001.
The Willow Court Asylum has sat dormant for many years and I hope through my tours I have been able to educate everyone with not only the Ghosts of the site, but with the amazing history this site has to tell.

I hope you can join me at the Expo to find out more on the Willow Court Dark Asylum Tours.

TOPIC: Paranormal Adventures in Australia & Beyond

Alison’s talk will cover some of the unusual activity during her investigations, both here in Australia and overseas.  She also proves that you should always check for evidence, even if you think you had a quiet night....

About Alison Oborn
Alison was born into a haunted house and, after many years of trying to deal with what she encountered, decided to research the topic for herself, to find her own answers.

She set up her team called Paranormal Field Investigators and ended up as the the official researchers at the Old Adelaide Gaol for over 10 years (she even authored a book on their time there - Ghosts of the Past).  Alison was asked to conduct their ghost tours and this led to the start of Adelaide's Haunted Horizons, a multi award-winning, Hall of Fame tourism business.  Ghost tours, paranormal investigations and dark history tours are conducted up to 5 nights a week in 13 locations, keeping herself and her staff very busy indeed.

Having now being a paranormal investigator for over 30 years, Alison's way of paying herself a wage and relaxing is to travel the world every year and investigate known haunted locations such as Waverly Hills Sanitarium, The Queen Mary and Bobby Mackey's Music Hall .... to name but a few.  She even takes her followers with her on those investigations via FB live so they can be there in real time, investigating along side her.

Even though for Alison it's a 24/7 job, she wouldn't have it any other way.  She is very proud of the Haunted Horizons motto 'Keeping it Real', if nothing happens on the night, then nothing happens, that is the reality of the paranormal.  This is how it will always be...
